Meet Dr. Jeri McCombs Dr. McCombs is one of four partners and eight general dentists at Madison Family Dental Associates, sharing her time between the DeForest and Madison locations. She is currently accepting new patients on both sides of town.Dr. McCombs is a Wisconsin transplant, having grown up in the Chicago area. In 2016, she graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from UIC in Chicago, but not before meeting her husband, who is also a dentist and a Wisconsinite! Following dental school, Dr. McCombs completed a hospital-based residency program in Chicago to gain more experience with complicated procedures such as root canals, extractions, and implants. She and her husband moved to the Madison area shortly thereafter and love it here. Dr. McCombs joined Madison Family Dental Associates in 2019 after realizing that the core practice values really aligned with her own. She enjoys having multiple dentists to bounce ideas off of and believes MFDA’s teamwork approach makes for better practitioners. Dr. McCombs always knew she wanted to help people in her career, and through the mentorship of her childhood dentist, she found that dentistry was a great way to fuel her passions. She also loves the way in which dentistry combines art and science. Dr. McCombs enjoys implant surgery and extracting teeth; even though she would prefer to save them all! When they are not performing dental procedures, Dr. McCombs and her husband enjoy spending time with their children, Maeve (born 2024) and Henrik (born 2025), and dog, Cooper, at their home in Waunakee. Dr. McCombs also loves skiing in the winter, fishing in the summer, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with family. She is also proud to be a Packer fan, despite growing up in Bear’s country! Associations:
