Dental Hygienist
Odana Road Office – Madison, WI
Full Time, Part Time, or Limited Term

Position Overview:
•  The ideal candidate will understand and embrace their role and responsibility as a healthcare provider, educating patients and teaching best practice. In addition, they will truly care about their patients, building trust and demonstrating a culture of positivity, excellence, and teamwork.
•  Supplemental pay for perio maintenance and SRP appointments


Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
•  Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
•  Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
•  Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums; using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession; exposing and developing radiographic studies.
•  Documents dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and medical and dental histories; charting in patient records.
•  Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
•  Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•  Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Patient Relation Associate
Odana Road Office – Madison, WI
Full Time In Person Schedule – 4 day work week

Position Overview:
At Madison Family Dental Associates, exceptional patient care starts the moment someone walks through our doors. As our Patient Relations Associate, you will be the first and last friendly face patients see. Creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience in our multi-provider practice. If you're personable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to grow with a supportive team.

Primary Responsibilities:
•  Check patients in for appointments, verify demographic and insurance information, update registration/medical forms as needed
•  Check patients out after appointments, collect copayments, sell products, discuss payment policies, schedule all necessary appointments (routine, treatment, emergency, new patient, etc.)
•  Schedule appointments via phone and email
•  Make outbound calls to patients, vendors, and/or other clinics to coordinate patient care
•  Analyze clinical schedules for maximum production and efficiency
•  Communicate with assigned clinical staff frequently to ensure daily operations run smoothly
•  Make detailed notes when discussing treatment planning, payment arrangements, patient concerns, etc.
•  Maintain patient confidentiality as directed by HIPAA laws


What We Are Looking For:
•  Self-motivated individuals with a passion for facilitating a friendly and efficient dental experience to patients in a multi provider practice
•  Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills between co-workers, providers, patients, and affiliates
•  Complete tasks efficiently and error free with attention to detail, including phone conversations and in-person interactions
•  Preferred: Knowledgeable in most aspects of dentistry, including dental terminology, scheduling based on flow of specified appointment type, treatment planning, cost of treatment and insurance benefits
•  Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
•  Required: At least 1 year of customer service experience
•  Preferred: At least 1 year of prior dental or healthcare experience

Associate Dentist

We are a highly productive, multi-location group practice fully owned by practicing dentists. Our team includes many long-term staff members we genuinely care about, and we prioritize both excellent patient care and a positive workplace culture.

Our mission is to provide excellence in healthcare by focusing on oral health in a collaborative environment that partners providers and patients to meet the needs of our community while we evolve together and develop relationships that last a lifetime.

Work alongside a practice of 7 doctors, 4 of which are owners. They have each been recognized as topDENTISTS in Madison Magazine and each have their own diverse clinical interests and expertise.

We are looking for someone who:
•  Effectively performs all procedures and collaborates with dentists on cases as needed
•  Is confident in their abilities
•  Meets production goals on a regular basis
•  Keeps dentistry within our practice, if there is an area that they can improve their skill set in, actively is taking the initiative to learn and grow
•  Good with patient education, motivation and helping patients move to next step. Utilizes staff to also reinforce treatment being recommended.
•  Takes "can-do" attitude to a high level. Is positive and works to enable others to do the same.
•  Is an active participant in team meetings
