| • | Check patients in for appointments, verify demographic and insurance information, update registration/medical forms as needed |
| • | Check patients out after appointments, collect copayments, sell products, discuss payment policies, schedule all necessary appointments (routine, treatment, emergency, new patient, etc.) |
| • | Schedule appointments via phone and email |
| • | Make outbound calls to patients, vendors, and/or other clinics to coordinate patient care |
| • | Analyze clinical schedules for maximum production and efficiency |
| • | Communicate with assigned clinical staff frequently to ensure daily operations run smoothly |
| • | Make detailed notes when discussing treatment planning, payment arrangements, patient concerns, etc. |
| • | Maintain patient confidentiality as directed by HIPAA laws |
| • | Self-motivated individuals with a passion for facilitating a friendly and efficient dental experience to patients in a multi provider practice |
| • | Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills between co-workers, providers, patients, and affiliates |
| • | Complete tasks efficiently and error free with attention to detail, including phone conversations and in-person interactions |
| • | Preferred: Knowledgeable in most aspects of dentistry, including dental terminology, scheduling based on flow of specified appointment type, treatment planning, cost of treatment and insurance benefits |
| • | Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent |
| • | Required: At least 1 year of customer service experience |
| • | Preferred: At least 1 year of prior dental or healthcare experience |

| • | Good with patient education, motivation and helping patients move to next step. Utilizes staff to also reinforce treatment being recommended. |
| • | Takes "can-do" attitude to a high level. Is positive and works to enable others to do the same. |
| • | Is an active participant in team meetings |
