How long have you worked at MFDA – 23 years
My current position – Register Dental Hygienist
A favorite Madison hot spot of mine is – My kitchen is my hot spot to entertain and cook for family and friends.
A patient complimented me once by saying – "I just love Doris, she takes excellent care of me."
When I am not working my hobbies, include – cooking, gardening and I am raising my son of 15 years.
If I could meet one person from history, it would be – Maya Angelou-I would just sit and listen to her voice and enjoy her poetry.
I am inspired by – God, my family and friend that are ever present in my life.
A book on my “to-read list” is – to finish reading my bible cover to cover n the order prescribed by my church family.
If a genie granted me one wish – is that all people be more aware of what it really takes to maintain health in a natural and holistic way.
I like to volunteer at – I have coached softball for many years.

My current position – Dental Assistant
A favorite Madison hot-spot of mine is – The UW Stadium during Badger Football season
A patient complimented me once by saying – I helped her to feel relaxed and comfortable by the way I took the time to explain what was going to be done before the treatment was performed.
When I am not working my hobbies, include – I truly love spending time gardening and enjoy learning about landscaping. I also love going for long walks in the quite of the early morning.
If I could meet one person from history, it would be – Mother Theresa and why? She spent her life in service to others expecting nothing in return. What a perfect example of the Golden Rule.
I am inspired by – The awesome beauty of nature including a star filled sky on a clear summer night. The motivational homily presented each Sunday by the pastor at my church, and the unconditional love shown to me by my husband my children and my grandmother.

If a genie granted me one wish – I would wish for a world at peace free of illness that plague human kind and for our fragile earth to become environmentally healthy again.

My current position – Dental Assistant/Clinical Supply Manager
A favorite Madison hot-spot of mine is – Toby's Supper Club
A patient complimented me once by saying – They will see any dentist, as long as I am the assistant.
When I am not working my hobbies, include – anything my girls are involved in. Golf, tennis, walking, and I love to play euchre.
If I could meet one person from history, it would be – Lucille Ball. I love her sense of humor!! My husband Keith did actually meet her at her home in Beverly Hills.
I am inspired by – Watching my girls work hard to achieve their goals.
A book on my "to-read list" is – The autobiography of Mary Slattery
If a genie granted me one wish – I would own a golf course somewhere warm!
